Dinosaur 13 Trailer



Director and producer Todd Douglas Miller Films a documentary called “Dinosaur 13,” based on a story on South Dakotas paleontologist Peter Larson and his team from the Black hills institute found the first Tyrannosaurus Rex that was the largest and the most completed findings of any T-Rex till this day. Even though it was one of the greatest findings it ended badly for Peter Larson and his team. Sues amazing discovery ended in a raid by the Federal Government and National Guard. This raid created a big custody battle on who was the rightful owner of the fossil.

         On February 13, Chicago Police Commander, Paul Bauer, responded to a call on a fleeing suspect and was shot six times in the head, neck, torso, back, and wrist. Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. officers patrolling  Lower Wacker Drive spotted the suspect, Shomari Legghette and approached him, which ended in him running away. The officers began to chase him and gave his description on the radio. Bauer was in a police vehicle at Lake and Clark and saw the suspect fleeing after moments of the description was given. Bauer chased after Legghette at the top of the Thompson Center stairwell and struggled to detain him. As they both struggled, Legghette took out his gun and fired 7 times, killing Bauer. London Rises in Homicide Rates

         On April 5, 2018 an other teen lost their lives on the streets of London. Israel Ogunsola, only 18 years old, was stabbed to death. This tragic lost of life became London`s 53rd murder victim of 2018  London is on the rise of homicides mostly involving teens and people in their 20`s. London has been experiencing a spike of deadly violence that involves gangs and young people being at the wrong place and the wrong time. Most of the victims were stabbed to death due to the fact that the gun restriction is very strict in the UK. In 2017 London had 130 murders and it was never that high since the 2000`s. London was also compared to New York`s homicide in 2017, which was 290 murders. Some of the reasons that this spike of homicides is occurring could be the budget that the British government had put on the police forces, cutting funds by more that 20 percent. Was there a specific scene that got to you? Describe and explain how it moved you (Angry? Curious? Delighted? Motivated?). Give a lot of detail, and really dive in to explain how it affected you. Don’t hold back.    One Scene that got to me was when peter and his crew were explaining how the FBI came to black hills to take sue away. When they were describing everything detail you can see the sadness that these paleontologists experienced while the government was packing Sue up to take her away. This scene made me feel sad for them because it was such a big discovery and they put all their work into getting Sue in their museum just to be stripped away from them.          2.   What surprised you?
